The brief.

We designed and developed La Boca's digital presence around a promise the brand makes in its own strapline — discover the world on a plate — and a menu structure that has to deliver it. Cuisines are the organising principle rather than courses, so a client browses Mexican, French or live cooking stations the way they would choose a destination, then drops into individual stations through an anchored in-page navigation. A four-step request wizard captures personal details, event context, menu preference and additional services before anything reaches the kitchen, and a dated event record does the work a testimonial page usually does.

WHAT WE DELIVERED

  • 01
    Cuisine-led menu architecture

Menus organized by cuisine and format rather than course, so a client chooses a culinary direction before a dish list ever appears.

  • 02
    Anchored station navigation

An in-page jump navigation across live cooking stations, keeping a long single-page menu traversable without pagination.

  • 03
    Four-step catering request

General info, menu preference, additional services and summary carried across a wizard with a persistent progress rail, so an enquiry arrives fully specified.

  • 04
    Structured event capture

Type, date, time, city, address, building, floor and guest count modelled as required fields, ending the back-and-forth that normally follows a catering enquiry.

  • 05
    Editorial event record

Completed events published with client, date and narrative, evidencing scale and range in place of testimonials.

  • 06
    Dual-desk contact routing

Catering services and restaurant given separate inboxes and numbers over one form, so an enquiry reaches the right team on the first attempt.

  • 07
    Editorial brand art direction

Script and high-contrast serif set against full-bleed event cinematography, giving a caterer the register of a hospitality brand.

  • 08
    CMS

Centralized publishing of menus, cuisines, stations, events and contact content without development support.
